The left side rear door doesn't seem to open very far.

Yes there is an extension bracket that you can fit. They are available on line or see if @ mudski has them.Quote:

$20 from them if my memory serves me correctly.
I gotten one recently from Patrolapart and it has a double hole for early and later GU Patrols if that`s any help. About $20 to $25.
I heard you can drill the existing hole a little longer so I will look at that tomorrow.
Give it a go, it`s worth a try. You might be able to make one up from scratch if you`re handy.
