Been reading the forum for a while (researching), just thought i'd join and post and intro as i'm about to become a Patrol owner.

Purchasing a used 2010 DX.

Just one here looking to learn as much as i can about maintaining the vehicle well, and any tips and tricks i can pick up.

The car checks out mechanically which was my main concern (as it's interstate), had pre purchase inspections done. It only has 78,000 k's on it.

Previously had a Subaru forester which i bought new, but needed something a little bigger for kids and dogs, and getting a bit dirty.

A few minor cosmetic items which i'll get stuck into when i pick up the car next week.
