Gday Folks,
Well I'm new to Patrols, having had a Troopy for the last five years. The troopy was great offroad, but with a 1hz slow and uncomfortable as hell.
Recently the Troopy met up with some Cows on the Lakefield road and was sent off to the wreckers.

I've since taken the opportunity to get something a bit more comfortable, being a GU 4.2tdi ST ute. Much more comfortable than the Troopy and hoping it can match the reliability.
cheers,
Steve

Shame about the Troopy mate, welcome to the forum!

Reckon the GU will tenderise the steaks just as well as the Tojo did, just with a little more comfort (for the driver, not the livestock)
Welcome!

Welcome to the forum mate.

Welcome aboard. Nice pic, always a shame. But I often say "Cows are Satan".
Had a few run ins with cattle myself. Unfortunately I was no in a car.

Thanks guys, yeah there are often Cows on the road up north but they don't usually bolt out of the shadows like these ones did. Oh well. The Patrol is luxury in comparison

Welcome to the forum, Glad to hear you went with a Patrol and will be interesting for you to say which is the better option over time.
