GU Build up :D
Hello fellow Nissanites
It's been a while since playing around on here. A few years ago I built myself a nice gq td42 that I very quickly sold when I found a 65 Impala coupe for sale :)
Forward a few years and Ive saved up for a patrol again (missed mine sooo much :( ) Its currently a 1998 GU 2.8td - got it cheap as body etc mint just had a blown headgasket, and yes I know the 2.8 is only going to be in it for another week but on a side note with some boost and fuel the 2.8 gets up there :P
TD42 to go in a full touring setup to do
Also heres a couple of piccies of my old patrol the impala and my new one :)

So now i play the waiting game, ive ordered:
Rear drawers
Roof rack and roof top tent
Spotlights and light bars
Awning
Engine and gearbox
Gauges etc
New sound system
Finaly doesnt smell like dust haha, cleaned all under the dash and removed and cleaned the evaporator, but I did manage to install my new viper alarm system (remote start and aux for camp lights all off the remote).

The donor car. 1998 gq was a bargain owner spent a heap on injectors pump etc. Its also a genuine coil coil ute. New suspension and supior arms etc. Then he went and rolles it, ended up getting it for $3500.

Ive got the engine and box all in the gu. Just need to finish building the wiring :)
