mounting Auto to the Engine

Hi i expect theres an easy answer but i cant see it so here goes...i was told to fit torque converter into box and make sure its in the iol pump nice and snug done that.lowered the engine with flexplate fitted and torqued located the dowels have drawn the engine and gearbox together. So the question is i cant see or feel the torque converter to line it up with the flexplate, i have the lower cover off can see the flexplate but can not reach over it to the converter. What to do?

Rotate the engine to line a bolt hole up then rotate it as one to get the others in.

A time saver is to set both the TC and flexplate to 6 o'clock before mating engine and trans

If i bolt the faces of the tranny and motor fully up i cannot get my fingers in the gap to locate the bolts...

All done finally....
