Hey guys new to 4x4 but not new to turbos and performance cars i have a question i have a 3lt tturbo 2002 i have a leaking intercooler and was wondering wat i should do put a stock 1 back on or upgrade and wat sort of up grade should i go if u could help out
G'day mate. Upgrade is best. As you will get a larger tank ends as well as tig welded joints rather than crimped. On my 3L i had diesel smart unit and it was great. Mine was about $400 exchange unit from memory.

As Hodge suggested look around and see what the best Tigged IC is going for.
Makes a big difference.
May I suggest you also fit some gauges to monitor whats going on.
EGT and boost, After the gauges you can block the egr, PM mudski for advice and pricing
Where are you mate. Brownes radiators do them in WA.
Thanks guys il have a look and a read do my research on them i have a boost gauge and installing a dawes valve on as well just have to get that exhuast gauge and catch can now we are in geelong vic

Inter cooler with the end tanks tig welded will out perform the factory inter coolers any day of the week... Welded vs crimped...
