Did ya notice any difference??
How much??

They are a great bit of kit makes a GU look a tad tougher.
I have had one for a few years now.
The extra vanes underneath allow air to be directed to the front of the IC
You'll find it allows your scoop to cool the IC at a lower
speed say 60kph compared to the STD scoop at 85kph.
No need for a fan IMO unless you do a lot of sand driving.
Big scoop big price eh lol
I love mine too.
Love the look.
Yep. I had the ARE scoop on mine. Looks tough and worked very well. But the price is a bit over the top considering i bought a Fairline scoop which is twice the size and $200 cheaper.
But it is a very effective scoop no doubt.

So far have noticed between 50 and 100 degrees of difference in the EGTs. When cruising at 60KMH it sits around 250 degrees, when cruising in the highway at 100 KMH it never goes over 300 degrees, it reaches around the 400 degrees mark when leaving 4th gear constant on slight sloped hills but cools down very quick.
As the others said, a bit expensive. A.R.E is now selling the aggressive scoop in $618 and the stealth version in $588. I haven't upgraded the intercooler though, it's in pretty good shape still.
Straight forward to install. recommend to just rest the scoop on the bonnet holes without removing the sealing foam tape in case there are any misalignments.
what is the difference just the height??
Thanks Mark very happy with mine, in conjunction with a Tigged intercooler
they make a great combo, Highly recommend to anyone wishing to lower
their EGTs,
FYI I brought mine from Guests 4wd centre as well Give David, Mick or Peter a bell
They'll sort you out for sure.03 9497 3899
