nitrogen filled shocks, gas types?

1stly, I posted here as it kind of applies to most patrols, gq to gu.
As the title suggests, I have a set of serviceable shocks, amada xtreme.
I had a leak from 1, I re-sealed it, gasssed it to 120psi all good!
Then I followed up with checking pressures on the remaining 3, only to find they're all below spec,
So nitrogen I can get, I use it at work for hydraulic accumulators.
But I also have at home a bottle of argon for my tig, which would be easier to use obviously!
After a bit of research, I cant find a real reason not to use it, I found tables for pressure coefficient at temp for different gases, a table of materials (seals) that are or aren't suitable in the presents of argon,
They're both clean, dry, non toxic, non flammable, stable gases,
Im not wanting to rent a bottle just for a few hundred grams of gas per year at best?
So? Anyone have info or real world feedback on the subject?
I have found in the usa alot of people have used it, in fox and king shocks, but I dont want to wreck my shocks if its not going to work?
