Clucth Plate alignment

Hi follow patrolers
put a clutch into a navara the other month, it had a zd30 which motor and gbox are nearly the same as in a patrol. I was bought up the hard way when it came to aligning up clutches from tractors, cars,trucks etc to align by sight as an old input shaft etc was unobtainable. Well i discovered a funny thing , 1/2 inch waterpipe fits snuggly into splin hole of nissan clutch plate and if you press into one end one of those power brass hose nozzles with the tapper out you have a makeshift alignment tool. May not be as good as an old input shaft but it puts in the ball park.
