Hey guys,
Has anyone put the bushskinz bash plates on their patrol?
I used to run them on my pajero and they were strong as buggery, a lot stronger than any other plate made.
Thinking of getting some again for my GQ but thought maybe others here may already use them and would like their feedback.

a few here have them fitted with good results,
they also have Harris hard hats fitted as well.
Pumpkin protectors
Rock solid bit of kit. No downsides to them that I am aware of. Got one on my GU and rate it.
They seem to only sell up to series III. Does anyone know if they sell for the Series IV (2010 GU)?
Probably best to email them and ask if they're doing later models and what fits what. I got the whole lot they had when i had my pajero and I abused hell out of them and they never let me down, paid for themselves real quick, i've seen other brands buckle and break etc so easy, especially them davis brown ones.

I bought one of their steering guards. I got lazy and didn't bother fitting it. One thing that was brought to my attention (which happened to a member here, I think two actually) is the guard was on the receiving end of a big hit. It bent the guard right in and was pressed hard up against the draglink and there for they had no steering.
So yeah it may have saved the drag link but it also put them in a situation where they couldn't drive with it either.
I use a Hard Hardcase pumkin protector for the front diff. I am eagerly waiting for Mal to get of his rrrss and make them for the larger H260 rear diffs. I'm not entirely sure on if the rest is really needed. Unless you do a lot of driving where you would need full under body protection.
Is it really worth the investment?

Funny you say "will i ever need it", I was looking into a fuel tank plate for my old 4x4 and everyone told me not to worry as it'll never get damaged, well guess what......I took a hit doing a hill climb and ended up being towed on a tilt tray home a few hundred km as a result. To be honest, i'd rather be safe than sorry now and never say never haha
Will I ever need it, is the question.... The driveline on these trucks is pretty well tucked up. I've done some pretty rocky stuff and never once taken a hit. Now I have a long range aux tank I am a bit concerned about this taking a hit. As its a good few inches lower than before.
But theres a first time for everything hey! As you have experienced....
