GU 3 litre and 4.2 bonnet difference and similarites for intercooler and scoop

Hi,
I've searched around and didn't find an answer (maybe searching the wrong terms but anyhow..)
I've a 99 TD42T wagon (without intercooler) and was wondering if there was a difference in the 3 Litre scoop bonnet and the slightly later model intercooled 4.2 factory scoop ones.
The reason I ask is that due to hail repairs I have a brand new bonnet that I don't particularly want to cut up if I can just use a cheap 3L bonnet that will match to the factory 4.2 intercooler setup. I am trying to keep the cost down by getting a 2nd hand 4.2 intercooler.

laurie take your tape measure to the wreckers that should answer your question or better still ring one.
Failing that ring a 4x4 shop that specialize in Patrols they should know

i reckon it will fit as without the intercooler it does not matter where the scoop is and i think the clearance height wise would be the same.
