Heading off to Tassie next week, and while doing a check over of everything noticed this lovely puncture!

Reckon it can be repaired? It's holding at 20psi at the moment and doesn't seem to be losing anymore, but when I crank it up to 35 it takes about 2 days to drop down to 20.
Hoping it can be plugged!

You could remove it and patch it from the inside as
the repair is in the tread area but really only good for a spare IMO

Wouldn't be keen to run it on the highway at speed. 60 k might be a bit quick for me. New tyre $300ish my life priceless.
well it all depends on what the inside of the tyre looks like. But by the looks of it, it should be repairable as Threedogs said. Switch it with your spare, moving the spare to the rear left corner of you vehicle. Its a bit of a mess around but will give you better piece of mind and shouldn't affect the ride.
You'd be better off finding a cheap second hand tyre the same size and using it as a spare and junking that to be honest. If your going to swap it out then swap it out for something without a split in in IMO. It will cost you probably $50 to have that vulcanise patched then its still split..... Spend $100 on a second hand tyre.

I've been a tyre fitter for 19 years, that's a basic repair. Just ask for a radial patch to be bonded to the inside of the tyre
