found a lot of thread about changing springs and shocks but im only changing the front and rear shocks its just bolt in bolt out with the car sitting normally on the ground right? no need to jack up car or put stands to support axle at all am i correct??

Yep spot on mate very easy job
You can jack it up a little to make it a little easier to get underneath at the rear, otherwise you can do it from the ground
Just be aware that if you are fitting gas shocks, as soon as you take off retaining/packing strap, the shock will slowly expand itself to full extension.
Must get better glasses I thought he wanted info on changing his socks WTF
And lots of muscle power if they are oem shocks.... ;)
