Suggestions on a twin wheel carrier for a GU 98

Hi everyone,

I´m starting to think about fitting a twin wheel carrier on my Patrol. However the first options I´m looking at are pretty expensive (Kaymar, Outback Accessories, ARB).

Someone here could endorse any brand with good value for money or any private manufacturer??

You could also try Uneek 4x4.
They look alright and priced well.

Personally I like the new uneek4x4 ones and will probably look into them more closely when the time comes for my rear bar, if not them I would definitely be going Raslarr.

The Rassler feature one touch opening for the door and swing away which is cool,
Massive reverse LED lights. that would be my choice

Can I ask why you are thinking of a twin wheel carrier?? the reason I ask is that I have a kaymar unit on the rear of my GQ Patrol. I also have a single wheel carrier attached some time.
The issue is that they are heavy and add a lot of weight to the car. I am now thinking going away from the kaymar and going back to a tube or factory bar.

I have a sports range one $1200 so I was happy with that and it's been on for 18 mths and no problems yet.

I've had Kaymar. They are well built. The ARB ones are rubbish. Expensive, bearings are too small, they shake themselves to bits. Mate has had arms replaced twice by ARB under warranty. On the flip side I have seen a couple of cheapies just break off on corrugated roads so make sure ties well made and you should be fine.

Hi Jtraf,

Well, I would like to carry with me a couple of spares and I don´t want to use the roof rack to allocate one of them. So I thought that twin carrier could be the best solution. I have already installed heavy duty coils to allow the extra weight in the rear side.
