I just pulled my fuel pump off my zd30 and I noticed that the timing marks on the cams don't match up to what the manual said, would there be a reason for this? and would this cause blow-by the motor was rebuilt in 5/12

Try rotating the crank and see if the A and the AA marks and the B and the BB marks move away from each other if you get what I mean. Count how many teeth apart they are and see of it changes when you rotate it .
If they do you can keep rotating it till the marks all line up to make sure all is well. I reckon it will be ok.
Do they line up if you turn it 180 degrees
I've turned it heaps and always comes back to 3 teeth out or heaps out could it be just a stuff up by mechanic
They will just be an odd number of teeth and require multiple rotations to line up.
3 teeth out would cause all sorts of issues as well. Keep rotating it and see how you go.
Just a thought, the cam gears are evenly spaced on the idler gear both 4 teeth and the idler gear only keeps them in time it shouldn't matter as long as they stay the same spacing ? And the timing chain didn't have any timing marks on it either maybe a old school mechanic using his brain? Still I am trying to call workshop to talk to mechanic anyway
Glad you worked it out mate.
