Here's a gizmo I used to make for 4x4s that didn't have plastic bumpers.
It fits over the foot of the hi-lift and held in place with a 1/2" GRADE 8 Bolt.
I made it for some comp trucks so the could get under the sills and onto the chassis rail.
Easy to make out of some 75x50 RHS
