Introduction
Hello I am supposed to present myself tothe forum. I am from sweden and I have an old 1988 Patrol 3,3 liter long wheelbase. I have had it for nearly 10 years. It has been sitting for more than a year because I did lend it to someone for trailing a big boat. the problem was he was filling diesel and lost the cap for the tank without seeing this. Then driving in the rain and then getting a stop because water in the diesel tank. He returnd it to me and didnt make any effort to fix it because he can not work with cars.
So I didnt had the time to fix it right away. Now we come to why I looked on internet and come to this site, I saw that I can download a manual for my car, I do need something because I am trying to fix it right now. I have been emptying the tank and the diesel filter. Filled in new diesel and pumping with the manual pump in the engine compartment. The engine only do some small jumps but never ignite. This is why I at first want to have the manual so I can see what to do. I dont know how I can post 25 messages in a short time. The car has to be moved directly. I hope someone can help me with some ideas what to do.
I am in the progress to fix the rust and converting it to take me on long trips, but first I need to get it running.
