Slip of the tongue?
I was starting to think that I may have had Eddie McGuire all wrong and he actually was a good guy after the way he appeared to handle the racial slur against Adam Goodes on the weekend.
It now appears not. Slip of the tongue yeah right..........

I heard this on the radio today, and said "holy .....k" at first then I look at my mate and we couldn't stop pissing ourselves laughing, I literally had to wipe my tears so I could where I was driving.
-
If they just get over it and play football we,d all be better off
and if everybody got on with life instead of rapping everybody in
cottenwool we would be better of also
as far as mcguire goes bolloks
-
That's the thing. It was said on public radio, by someone who has publicly stated they are totally against it and will not tolerate it.
Not sure who's wrapped in cotton wool. Eddie's certainly in damage control.
-
I agree Yendor , it was totally inappropriate....
To come out so strongly against it, and then to forget what he said three days later.....
This is the height of hypocrisy from someone who has been in the media for long enough to know better.

I dont get why he called it "a slip of the tongue"? So is it ok to think it but just not say?

For a slip one guy was trying to say whoa eddy back off and Eddy kept talking away
Sorry Eddy you are a RACIST apology or not
Then Demetrou says lets forget about it and move on. Come on.
Good for the goose good for the Gander.
can't sweep it under the carpet cause its Eddy or can they
