Got heaps of ideas going through my head ATM, this came about following legallities of pillar pods.
First off if you have a GU would you have one, colour coded of course, any wires or probes could be
directed down the vent

Pretty sure you can already buy them.
And check legalities, cause you will probable find there illegal 2
Seen it done on GQs, easier to blend in with all the square shapes in the dash. Would be a bit harder on a GU though I would think?
3D, you'd be good at pictionary I reckon.

From another patrol site, they used a pajero pod holder and fabricated a face for it
Yeah a guy on here used to have a pic OD his in his Sig line
What about utilising the panel that isnt used on some models, the one where the passenger air bag goes and people make gloveboxes with. If you make a replacement panel and have the gauges facing towards the driver it might be an option.
Thought of that but want to fit a 7" screen in there for navigation.
good idea though thanks. From where I was sitting the binnacle was not higher than bonnet,
so cant see how it can be illegal, but they would find away I would think.
I'll fab one up and see how it looks
@ Tonks never played mate, I'd just draw rude pics anyway
I think the trick is to make it 'look like it belongs'.
Just as if you fitted different seats. Make all the seat covers the same. If there is on racing bucket seat, red in colour, and the rest are old and ratty, there's no way it won't be the first thing noticed in a rego check/ roadside attitude check.
Make it look part of the dash, even so the dash mat covers it nicely.
Tritons also have one which is the same colour grey vinal as some or our busses. I think it would look good,
