my 08 patrol
hi all just introduced myself in the intro section so thought I might as well put a build thread up.
purchased an 08 patrol about a month ago. manual, silver, 108000km on the clock and a few goodies to start with:
2" suspension lift
Nissan winch bar/snorkel
tracklander roof racks with side ladder
arb front and rear air lockers
arb compressor
dual battery set up with red arc isolator
electric trailer braking (now removed)
brand new federal 33" mud tyres
lightforce 240 blitz with cheap hid conversion (now removed)
dvd screen in rear headrests

what iv done:
egr block inlet side
scan gauge
chipit
egr block exhaust side (did the exhaust manifold gasket so thought why not)
3" scotts rods exhaust
map sensor adapter for boost gauge
high lift jack mount on tracklander
rear LED work/reverse lights on 3 way switch
16x8 black king steel rims 33" bfg allterrains (from my old surf)
boost gauge
chipit egt controller (to be wired in)
cross country intercooler (to be installed)
roo lite 180xp (from my old surf)
pioneer double din screen
alpine type R 12"
alpine mono block

Looking good. I have a 08 but a ute. How fo u find the 3 inch exhaust? Trying to decide what exhaust I want to go with.

Corbin- I didn't really have chance to drive it as it developed a leak from the injector pump so it's back at the dealership under warranty, also the boost was all over the place so I removed the chip and just babied it until I get needle and dawes valve, it would just spool to 25+psi with the lightest touch of the accelerator! So I'm bypassing the factory control all together. From the little driving I had its made a big improvement in low down torque but obviously with the boost problems I haven't seen the full out come! Pretty easy to install aswell! Removing the sway bar gives alot more room to play with!
Threedogs- it makes a massive difference! I was going to sell these with my surf but they are brand new rims and tyres and no one could justify the price I was asking! I'm glad I kept them though! And now iv got a spare set of muddys to play with whenever winter decides to arrive in perth :p
