Hi everyone, I forgot to add - can I get a new whole electric wiring harness/s for the MQ 160 from somewhere, or do I have to redo it physically myself? We have no possibility of purchasing anything like that brand new here in South Africa, as all spares have been discontinued a long time ago. Thank again
The only place you would get a harness is from a donor car.
Thanks and ouch, that means some painful wiring work, no donors here in SA, but thank you, everyone has and is being a great help. I feel very welcome here and truly it helps a lot and has already helped me tremendously. Rgds
Swappin a full harness from a donor car,and 12 V to 12 V is easily done and takes maybe a coupla hours
They are a simple unplug replug harness, really easy to workout
But goin a 12 V to 24 V system youll need more than just the harness
Ive just done a full harness swap from diesel to petrol,just label as much as possible ,save the headache
