Help needed with auto transmissions

hi all just put new zd30 engine in my gu 3 and all running good but the the torque converter wont engage any body have any suggestions cheers Shane

not enough oil in the gearbox ? did you remember to bolt the flex plate to the torque converter? did the flexplate go back in the right way? did you have a small plate either side of the flex plate ?

any luck with it stokezi??

still working on it but it looks like it wasn't lined up correctly,the torque converter was bolted to flywheel on the engine instead of installing into the gearbox, thanks for your suggestions
