Jack Riley
Doing a bit of a dig on Australian heritage, whilst planning a 4wding weekend.
Looking at doing a trip between Tom Groggin and Corryong through to Woomargama. A mate of mine mentioned that he had seen somewhere that there is a monument to Jack Riley (the man who it is said "The Man from Snowy River" is written about), somewhere between Tom Groggin and Corryong. All he can remember is "200m off the murray you will find..."
Any one have any ideas? Looking for tracks to follow, hoping for GPS co-ods for the place or ideas how to get there.
If not towards the Jack Riley monument, Anything between Tom Groggin and Woomargama.
Cheers, Teno.

Found a map that has a small note, similar to what my Mate was thinking.

Looks good to me, so the patrol is packed, and we leave sparrow fart tomorrow!

Im back and we found it! Not a bad drive in, couple of interesting sections but nothing overly challenging. A quick walk off the track, across surveyors creek and up to the monument. Good campsite there with an awesome fireplace cooktop.
