dreaded egr

hi fellas i was just wondering if and where the egr is on a 01 gu 4.2td cheers

Mate, on the pic, where it says "block here", you can slip the plate in after loosening the 4 mounting bolts, 10 minute job and this is all there is to it.
I can supply you with the correct plate if you wish.

I have taken all that gear completely off mine. Blocked the exhaust and that part and removed the cooler. It ran cooler after this as well as the exhaust gas was cooled before entering intake.
I wasnt aware an 01 Had the egr on it?

Yeah I think the EGR came with the intercooling on the later TD42's
