Hi all just received a magnified lens for my 12v 10watt camp lights from Ebay.
I thought they were the bees knees but now WOW, have to be at least x 4 brighter with the lens in place. I have these 2.5 to 3 metres high at camp. Can't wait till Cod Opening now

3d I too really like this and would probably like a third battery to run things like lights and have a secondary battery dedicated to the fridge.
Any price on the extension light set up.

Mego these draw very little power, I only use 18 AH motor cycle size battery at home and a 20 watt solar panel.
really cant stress how bright these are for the size, and now I've added the magnifying lens I'm like a pig in Poo.
Next camp I'll run one light for general camp lighting and maybe another down by the banks of the Murray.
I also have some extendable light poles here.

Cool, got a few things in their favour, 1: they're bright, 2: draw very little power and finally 3: compact.
to me thats ticking all the boxes and about 800 lumens
