GQ sagging front springs
G,day all
I inherited my Dads 93 diesel GQ earlier this year and the front springs are sagging, its running 15 inch wheels with a distance at the rear of 385mm from the top of the rim to the mudgaurd arch, the front is 335mm, 50mm difference. looks like standard stuff up front (not 100%sure), at the back though it has old man emu nitro charger N29 shocks and red springs with a sticker that has the numbers 7753L on them.
any measurements that anyone could share sure would be helpfull

you inherited a great beast mate, it is more than likely the arse end sagged out & he beefed it up a little, I dont know the spec for hieghts but they are on here, if immediately concerned measure the alloy step front & rear, as long as the front is level or slightly lower then nothing to worry about, a simple 2" lift & it will go most places you could want

Thanks for the heads up Morton, he used to tow a van all over the top end so im guessing the rear end is heavy duty, ride is very comfortable though, (as the sailer said to the prostitute)
-
makes sense for towing a van

could also be softer than required springs in the front as per the piccie a bar and winch on the front means a higher loaded spring to compensate for the extra weight on the front of the vehicle, than if no bar/winch were installed, if is old gear and u buy new make sure u r sold the right load rating or will sit too low and sag quickly

You have a raised rear springs by pedders you might just try matching fronts to level it out.
