Thermostat?
Just put new radiatror in car now i have hot top hose and cold bottom hose cars temp is between 90-100 could this be air still in system or the thermostat stuck closed top and bottom hoses are really firm when at normal temp which should be about 87 deg
-
They are a bastard to bleed the air out of i get a large funnel that just fits in the filler neck park the car with the front up high on a hill .
If it is a thermostat problem go and buy a genuine one as the aftermarket ones are crap.

Your radiator is working perfectly :). Could be a bit of both when she is cold run it up without the cap on this should get rid of any air. As for the thermostat rip it out and throw it in a cup of hot water to see if she is opening correctly.

Thanks guys when i start car from cold with the cap off to bleed the bubbles out the coolant builds up and flows out of the bottle never had a problem till the top outlet snapped off car still runs as good as it ever has doesnt smell hot or coolanty

You should find gen is cheaper than aftermarket, that's been my experience with last 2 gen ones I bought.
-
Robo made the call to werribee nissan and they are cheaper than aftermarket will be changing on weekend also took emtied out the radiator bottle of some coolant and let got the car up to temp still runs hotter than it should but there was no bubbles etc and no exhaust smell in coolant so feeling confidant the heads ok as said will change the thermostat and see what happens will aslo remove the fan belts and check water pump incase the shafts gone
-
I dont use anything but gen for both the cap and thermostat. Check your viscous fan hub too.

Will do Cliff tomorrow will be a good day for it im stuck at work on flood watch
