Hi. Pondering on a reverse camera for the GU and am interested in what others are using or any general advice. I am leaning towards the ones that attach to your rear view mirror as this seems a more natural place to look than on the dash. What do others think? Wireless or wired? (wireless would be nice and simple but I am concerned about interference). Thanks in advance.
i have just put in one of the ones that attach to the mirror it was easy to install and run the wires and picture quality is pretty damn good its an audio option brand

Check in my DIY thread for placement of the camera. I put a replacement mirror in my ute and hard wired it
work has one that is lower mounted and I find it comfortable to use when reversing.

ive got a camera mounted on the smaller of the barn doors viewed on a double din dvd/stereo /cd player the cameras under the handle and points to the right side a little so you can clearly see the towball easy for hitching.ive also got a switch for the front camera on the snorkel showing the left side of the front of the car for clearance(short ass wife cant see) and a cam for the rear seats, all cameras can be switched between while the car is driving not only in reverse. Good for viewing little tailgaters reactions as you rip up the handbrake when they get to close. ive never had any trouble looking to the dash for rear view.

sorry my nissan patrol grx is a 2000 and while I would like to know where to install the camera to reverse., up, or down ..
I have one that bolts on to the number plate .
It has been sitting here in front of me on my desk for about 3 months now .
I have a 7 inch in dash screen for the dvd player i'll be using as a monitor wich is in the top stereo pocket.
