Hi I was wondering if anyone had experience with auto diff lockers. I was looking at putting LOKKA in the front of my GQ.
What do you think?
Cheers

Hi mate, there's quite a few people on here that have fitted auto lockers and hopefully some will be along soon to comment.
But in the meantime, have a search of this forum (top right of screen if you're on a computer) as there's a lot of threads that mention them.
What tas said... heaps of posts on here about them
I used a LOKKA in two of my GQ's. They have their little quirks in how you use them but never had an issue with breakages etc
i have the Spartan lokka in my GQ and while its great to have sometimes i think it would have been better for me personally to have a switchable lokka due to the driving that i do which is mostly sand and some clay/mud, i find that with the LSD rear in the sand you'll go anywhere and most places where there is clay/mud only when the going get tough the lokkka comes into its own and i love it uses heaps of fuel and makes the steering twice as heavy and the turning circle isn't great, but when you need it it will pull me up that hill withouth breaking a sweat and through bog holes like they are puddles (sometimes lol)
Lokka can lick my hairy dangly balls!!!!
Lokka is alright but a little scary in really soft stuff like sand. You can have a bit of under steer in that case so it is a case of being aware of it.
If I had to choose again I'd consider E-locker, however if on a budget you can't go wrong with auto locker or should it be called "auto unlocker". Manual hubs are must and be aware that dealing with 4WD Systems (company behind LOKKA) is absolute PITA. I wouldn't buy from them ever again.
Cheers
Thanks and I just worked out what PITA means.
You doo need to adjust your driving style when in 4wd. ie some times when turning and at full throttle you will need to back off (poofteenth of a second) to assist in the cournering. I had no dramas in soft sand at Loveday actually had a bloody ball, but again slight driving mods required
