Easiest and cheapest way would be to drill and tap and use a bolt with a large washer to hold it on.
Or, get a complete shock mount and weld that in.

Argh, good luck. Back pain is never fun when you can't stand up straight.
While you're at the doctor's, get them to check if you have a 20/25mm variation from LHS to RHS.
