For your consideration. My eng CRD, I have done progressive eng mods over time - NADS, cooler, intake induction, remaps, high flow turbo (run max B 26psi (rear wheels 136kW/512N-m) have...

My view may go against the tide. :)
If you must do this sort of 'tuning' do it well before you head off on the big trip, don't risk new 'issues' when a long way from anywhere.

You can do remap of ECU for DI. The ECU map can be changed only by that tuner that did the previous remap. The ECU can be set back to the stock baseline set points only by the tuner of...

Im not sure if you can get a ECU remap on the older Di motors. When I had my Di you couldn't but things might have changed since. An ECU remap is permanent too. With a remap they can get rid of the...

When I had my 2001 3Ltr I ran the DP Chip with no issues. Had the full nads big pipe, modified intake, the lot. I felt the chip only worked when towing, I could not feel any difference when not...

With mine it depends a lot on how I drive when I'm towing - especially when the weather is hot. Going up hill my EGTs increase rapidly, and if I don't drop a gear to lower the EGTs, eventually my...

Pretty much exactly what mine used to do... Trailer was maybe a tad heavier at up to 1500 Kg... but similar air temps and terrain in WA would get me almost exactly the same temps on the Scangauge and...

The stock solenoid cant be fixed. They fall to bits if you try to get inside them. Nissan could replace them if need be but i have no idea on cost.
I have attached a few pics of my MAC valve.

Fuel filter replaced. Quite straight forward to do. But a couple of things made it a bit easier. Its easier to remove the two bolts that hold the bracket to the car body and remove the whole...

Not sure what you mean by 4 post.
If there are only 2 wires, it doesn't matter how you wire them. 1 will go to earth and other will action the solenoid. A bit like a relay where you can swap 85/86...
