Yeah you can fit without removing body. I did mine whilst doing a cab swap and was much easier but only did it then whilst it was a perfect opportunity. Just gotta watch the bump stop bolts I snapped...

Thanks for the replies, I find the front ball invaluable and have asked the service departments at 2 Nissan dealers who are quite emphatic it should not be done - but can't give a logical reason why....

i agree whit tony here but dont forget your fuel filter it may have picked up some gunk as well
