Flicken that darn plastic header tanked radiator will be a leap forward
The rad in my GQ was the original one since new,1997 , and i had it rodded , then cracked a non replacable plastic tank
I...
Copper/Brass & have a radiator shop make it Triple Flow (that is baffles in tanks to cause flow to go across & back & across again ) much more efficient.
Steve.
with an aluminium radiator you need to watch out for electrical leakage as it will set up electrolisisand the unit wont last very long
+1 Copper/brass is definately the way to go, a 2 or 3 row should be fine. If you want it to last and be serviceable for longer, definately steer clear of the alloy ones. My 2c.
Edit- In saying...
Copper brass should be the best at doing the intended job.
Brass for main body rust resistant.

They did bolt straight in with no fiddling to make them fit, and it could be engineered with...
I just had a play around with mine and found the fan on backwards it might be worth checking.
Also the silicon oil in the clutch fan can go bad causing the fan to be restrictive at high speed as...
Mine used to do that mate - the gauges aren't overly spot on, but accurate enough that when it climbs like that it raises the alarm bells. Any "obstacles" in front of the radiator? Spotties, air con...
Don't know of any aftermarket straight swaps mate - as no one does aftermarket bolt on rails with their seats (which makes sense I guess so they can be fitted to multitudes of different cars).

try the irrigation ditches at murray bridge on the left hand side before you go over bridge
Hey buddy, last feed of yab's I got was the back of lake Bonney at Barmera. Didn't bag out but still a nice snack. Should be some good spots around Blanchtown or here's a good one, not too sure but...
