Yeah, the one that's behind the clutch. With the belt off you can tell if that bearing is shot or not.

I think he is talking off the bearing on the compressor clutch not the internal compressor bearings if they fail it all over for the hole aircond system will need a pull down and flush

You did the idler bearing though didn't you John? Not the actual bearing inside the compressor. As to do this the system needs to be degassed and the compressor disassembled. Disregard this if you...
