They run an 82 degree c thermostat. If it's a genuine one that is. Aftermarket might be different. But mine runs about the same as Bloodyaussie.

MY temp at this time of year is sitting at an average of 81-83 but when towing its sitting at about 85-86 and when doing a hill climb on a track it gets to nearly 90....... These figures will change...

The old Holden boys use to bolt the 185 head to the 202 engines to increase compression..
