Sticking sliders on your calipers mate.. not uncommon for a 4wd playing in mud and stuff.. make sure the rubbers are in good condition and not letting mud in.

I could only get about 1.4 into mine. It overflowed so I was happy enough.
If its coming out the hole I wouldnt stress to much. Most capacities given in most manuals are first fill capacities so have never had oil before. You can never get all of it unless you strip it down.
