No 'grenade' problems reported at all with the CRD which was from about '07 onwards. I would buy with confidence and enjoy your new Patrol :)

Unfortunately, some (particularly early) ZD30s still failed after being looked after their whole life, but most are fine.
I couldn't find it sorry, but there is a list on the other forum...

Was constant rain in Adelaide so didn't hang around for long. There were some tough looking trucks there, and heaps of nice Patrols.
Anyone else make it?

That's a tough one. '00-'01 ZD30 I would generally steer clear of, especially with higher kms. Although it could have a new engine in it already, unless it's been rebuilt 100% properly it could...
