Same here 2003 td42ti wagon and I have one too.

Still sad though because successive pumps when car idle it still goes stiffer. I know our clutches are huge and I assume the hydraulic isnt enough...

Love a happy ending. Cheap. Easy.
GU are simple enough to fix but complex enough to be good. Im going to miss them one day when they are gone for good from main stream.

Finally got and ECUTALK.

Is the Pump timing correct for the TD42ti?

For the whole year I felt my car had a laggy feel compared to my friends TD42t mechanical pump.

Two dyno tuners later and...

Adrad one with measurements . Same as above...

Have you changed the transmission fluid?
Do that first

Take the heat shield off and look carefully for black sooted area. It wont be much but you will find it if its leaking.

Then you can fix it two ways.

Required to take manifold off first anyway....

My diesel mechanic said 100 000kms on a Td42t and 140 000kms on CRD.

He charges 700 bucks. Takes a whole day to change everything on it.

Then again I seen 360 bucks on ebay exchanged with sets...

I had it back at dyno tuners today to check out. Free dyno run checkup. All good.

He says TD42ti are soot kings and just enjoy the power.

Im no longer worried now haha.
