Thanks guys, got it sorted. Not sure how, but pulled it apart again, paid a lot of attention to the lever and put her back together and works like a charm.

Finally finished some work wiring in some new switches and sockets in the back of the Patrol ready for a 5 week trip up North in 2 weeks time! Nice to tick a job off the list!
