Alls well that ends well. Glad the Mechanic was a boiler maker in a previous life Patched it up stronger than it was, and I'm now 6 hrs down the road. Another 8 hrs tomorrow and will be home....

Ok cool. We are putting the Mig on it now and seems to be holding so hopefully we won't need to block it.

No mate. It's the pipe going across the back of the engine block to the Egr . . . . We found we can MIG it up for now. If that fails, can I block it from the Manifold ?
