That's right Mic, the metal replaces the ceramic. the standard ceramic plugs are prone to cracking and dropping tips, this tip then bounces around denting and cracking your piston and as 4bye4 said...

I Plumbed up my system with Ford heater hoses as they have a flared end that fit the provent perfectly . Here is the link...

I agree TD i am happy and wouldn't go bigger than the Diesel Smart Monster only if you can get it at a good price (see link above) even $800 TO $900 is high but the $1300 CC is way to much
