Just a note on the tyre balancing thing .

Ever noticed the red and yellow dots on the side walls .
Red is the lightest part of the tyre , and goes to the valve stem

I've got one of those ovens , they come with a 15 amp fuse , they draw around 13-15 amp for about 20 sec when first plugged in , and settle to around 6-7 after that , great little oven for the price...

If you go into Currawinya, check out Boorara Station, it was our main reason for another visit, as national parks had not long opened up access , allow a day to do that bit alone , heaps to see...

After running 285s for many years , I went to 265s this time , our van is just shy of 3t
Haven't noticed a difference in fuel economy ... 2 many variables in road and wind conditions , driving...

Still see Donk , Swampy , Hempo and Bigrig regularly ( still as mad as a cut snake , although he cuts a smaller stature these days! ) all are going well.

I use a old 2.5m vhf marine whip , love it because it is nice and stiff , and doesn't wave all over the place , that drives me nuts ! from a driver perspective....

And dispose of number 2s correctly! The amount of dunny roll on the french line was digusting , and a couple of camps you could not stop in due to the smell !
