That sounds like a mistake. You don't want to feed power into both of those wires, just the one that goes to the transmission, not to the tcu one.

I bought a Flamethrower and couldn't make it work. Got a mechanic to tune it after that and he said throw the new one away and keep using the original Bosch one. He reckons they're the only ones...

It was a lot easier than I expected. I drilled two holes in the front of it, blew out the old oil (which was like thick dark honey), and put 40ml of 30,000 grade silicone oil into it with a syringe....

If you wanted to keep it locked up at the lights, you'd hold the switch down while you brake. In general, the momentary is for activating the lock.
It needs to reach from the brake light switch...
