I was checking every thing to try and find the noise and just looking at the sway bar one of the ends looked like it was sitting funny so i removed it and found it was very badly worn.

I had a similar thing happening with my GQ It drove me nuts. It ended up being the front sway bar link one side was stuffed. so I removed the sway bar problem solved.

I had a similar problem with my GQ it ended up being the dam scotch locks for the trailer plug.
Just worth checking first.

Call PATROLAPART they have done heaps. They will let you know what needs to be done.
They are a great bunch of blokes. They helped me out (over the phone) when I was doing the 2.8 to 4.2 conversion.

This is off a mates GQ. The dent it put in the back off the ute (steel tray) was Insane.
So for the people out there who still use these STD hooks PLEASE REMOVE THEM BEFORE ANYONE GETS INJURED OR...
