Mods so far on car include 2" suspension lift, 31" AT's, $120 snorkel off ebay fitted by yours truly, a cb radio and that's it so far.

Once I get my electrical licence I will be getting a set of 33" mud terrains, new bull bar and winch, rock sliders, 2" body lift and exhaust and extractors

I do have a couple of questions...

1: in Qld I hear the legal limit for tyre size is 33" and the suspension lift is 2" highest legal....what's the go with all these massive fourbies runnin 4" sus lift, body lift and 35" plus tyres?? Is it possible at all to run that sort of a set up and get an engineering cert to say it's safe/legal??

I wanna keep everything legit and legal but I love the slow technical, big hills big ruts and big step ups, and would really love a bigger sus lift and 35"s?!?

2: the other question is, when going up a slight incline, from a slow start, and turn the wheels either hard right or hard left it makes a funny rubbing, burring noise, only on a slight incline! Thanks in advance!

G'day Michael

Welcome to you and your family to the forum. Lots of troll owners are running the gauntlet with their mods. For many, it's not a matter of if, but a matter of when, they get stopped by the cops.

Lots of issues when it comes to insurance companies paying out.

My suggestion to you is to stay legal.....less headaches and less to fork out. lol.

Take care out there.
