Hi guys,

Apologies if this has been asked previously (i'm sure it must have been) - I couldn't find much using the search tool.

I'm looking at buying a Patrol with a blown engine as a long term / fix up/ restore type project. I'll need to tow it home if I decide to buy it. It's a 7 seater GQ. What size trailer would I need to tow this vehicle with ? I can get a 15x6 one easy enough, but i'm not sure if it will fit....

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

GQ Dimensions

Kerb Weight (kg) 1839
Gross Combination Mass (kg) 5650
Gross Vehicle Mass (kg) 3150
Pay Load (kg) 1311
Towing Braked (kg) 2500
Towing Not Braked (kg) 750
Wheel Base (mm) 2970
Length (mm) 4970
Width (mm) 1800
Height (mm) 1855
Track Front (mm) 1465

So going by the wheel base you should get it on a 4.5m trailer
