Hi guys just thought id throw up an advertisement of a nissan patrol for sale in my homeland, just to give you an idea of the price diffrence between here and there.... when I got to oz first I could not believe the price of cars here..... anyway if anyones interested in getting a big container and filling it up with dirty old nissans let me know id love to throw a few in there :)

hey, they are quite a bit cheaper! Ya get high km, standard GQs for that price here!

That is quite cheap. If that was imported into NZ though the price would at least double due to excise tax gst and then shipping, but still about half of what we expect to pay off a yard. There are some bargains to be had overseas if you are in the right place at the right time and have a lot of time to organise and follow up shipping .

Here in Canada they are hard to find. People don't even know what they are here. I picked up my 90 4.2 diesel for $1500 cdn. Everything works it had some electrical problems where the batteries would drain, but the guys had so much stuff wired up. I pulled it all out and seems fine so far. Only had it 5 days, but very happy so far.

Dang cars are cheap in the UK. you can get a Dodge Ram SRT10 (viper motor) for under 20 000 pounds. they are over 100k here. I looked into importing cars from over there but its way too pricey and you are restricted to pre 89 or cars that were not fully released in Australia, there is a list online somewhere on a government website i once found.
