Bit of an left field question but does anyone know what countries Nissan bought in the GU Short wheel base at all?

Any countries who drive on the left hand side of the road by chance???

Just had a few drinks with a mate tonight who wanted to import one and I was checking to see which country got them.

I thought Russia got some too?

He will need to "own and use" one overseas for 12 months to get it imported. I am not sure on the legalities to onsell under that circumstance, I think he will have to own and use it for a further 2 years here in Aus.

GU Shorty's are not on the approved list for direct import IE find one overseas, buy it and bring it in. The cost to get one thru under the Act is astronomical if you can even find an approved engineering mob (of which there are only like about 6) who are on the Gov't Man's books and will take it on.

In KZ we have lot of GQ and GU short and long.

Also this thing can swim ;) and drive through the swamp, it has 10 seats, 2 salon heaters, and eat 30 L of diesel per 100 km, one tank of diesel it can drive 600 km!
