My Question starts with a story. After driving around town for about 15 mins up & down a few hilly streets, breaking and accellerating often as city driving dictates, I got home and put a hand to the hubs and they were hot to touch. Not scalding or anything but pretty hot.
My Q is. Is this heat normal?

Pretty normal mate ... If they were burning hot (couldn't touch them) that'd be a sign to suss things out, but pretty hot is pretty standard ...

Still, to ease the mind, maybe time to rip em off, clean and re-grease ... excuse to work on it and have a couple of coldies!!! lol

NO Paul - it is NOT NORMAL to place your hands on things that might be HOT. LMAO.

You will general get a lot of heat generated from braking through the hub will be hot to touch but as its been said if its scalding then your bearings and hub could do with a grease and tension.
