more boost!

hey guys,

ive got a gq 4.2tdt, its all standard gear running factory boost levels, i know of a few blokes who have wound the boost up to 15psi, im just wondering how to do it myself? is there any DIY threads on here to do it? ive done a search but couldnt find what i was looking for. cheers

You need atleast a boost and pyro gauge if you are gonna play with this at home. It makes life a little easier if you put a boost controller in the line on your wastegate so you can adjust without getting burnt. There is an adjustment screw on the injector pump but unless you are experienced i wouldnt be playing with this. There are a few things which you could do if it doesnt already have it like 3" exhaust and snorkel (these will help it breathe) i would recommend spending the dollars and getting a good tune tell them what you want drive away. You will be very happen with a well tuned motor running 15psi
